Lake Memesagamesing is a spring-fed lake approximately nine miles long with a thirty-four mile perimeter. The lake has a rocky, rugged shoreline surrounded by towering pines and natural untouched beauty. The irregular-shaped shoreline consists of numerous bays, islands and inlets, affording great fish habitat and protection in all kinds of weather.
Spring is a beautiful time of year to visit Memesagamesing.
As the lake begins its thaw from a near north winter the woods regenerate with the sights and sounds of our natural wildlife.
With the opening of the fishing season in May, fishermen will be well pleased with our lake trout, northern pike, pickerel/walleeye, and whitefish.
Spring also provides nature-lovers with an abundance of sights accessible by hiking trails, boats, and ATV's.
But beware! Only the tough and determined are able to not only withstand fly season in Northern Ontario, but also enjoy and truly appreciate this wonderful season for the distinctives it has to offer. So if you are tough, come help us feed the flies. It's a beautiful, quiet time on the lake.
