With the arrival of summer, the lake offers excellent swimming with our own small sandy beach and a larger natural beach located a leisurely ten minute boat ride away.

Children love this time of year and we provide the perfect location for summer family fun.

Many of the islands on the lake offer wonderful picnic opportunities and allow families to explore our natural habitat and its wildlife.

The smallmouth and largemouth bass season which opens in late June offers fishermen with an even greater selection of fishing opportunities. Together with the lake's other fish species, the serious and not-so serious angler can be challenged trying to catch the big one! Boats are also available on a variety of small outpost lakes and rivers.

If that isn't enough, many enjoy sailing, water-skiing, hiking, tubing, canoeing and kayaking.
